Yesterday i got a message from my good friend Savvas. Hes from Cyprus and we havent talked for ages, his message made me smile. We met when i was about 17. Hes a guitarist in a cyprus rock band Underthenumber and his music is just awesome! Savvas is someone special to me. He was the first person who gave me an opportunity to show my artwork to people and he wanted to use one of my pictures as a cover. This was the first time i felt like a lucky person.
A few months ago he and his band recorded their secont album "new born" with another picture i made.
Hes one of my best friends ever, even if he lives thousands miles away and im proud i can make covers for him. Without him i would not be who i am now.

Im working at the new painting i want to give to my Parents. They do not have any paintings on the wall in their living room, and i hope theyll like the one im going to give them. Before its finished i want to show you something i made some time ago. About 2 years ago i got a message from a young girl from my town. She wanted me to draw something for a little child she knew. She asked me to draw an angel sitting on the moon and reading a book. She wanted to hang it on the wall in the room of the child. Its one of my favorite pictures made with pencils. Not in my style, really. Anyway - i like it alot.

Pele's album cover.

Some time ago an underground Polish musician Pele aka Trzy Mózgi (Three Brains) found my paintings on the internet and wrote me a message. He wanted me to make an album cover for him. We talked alot. He told me about his dreams and i told him about my visions. This is our child: his voice + my hand holding pastels and brushes.
I love to work with musians, really. Here are a few pics of the sketch and the cover. Enjoy.

Its said bad thoughts cause bad things, and good ones make your life much better. Ive never been afraid of my future. Maybe its a bit funny but i was always sure my lifes not going to be normal and boring. After working as a shop assistant (being a student didnt let me find any better job) i found something which gives me so much fun now. Or maybe i should said: i have been found. Ive became a fingerboards graphic designer. Its not important i have no idea how photoshop works. Ive been noticed just because my artwork was a bit surrealistic and traditional (i use acrylics, oils, pens, pencils and so on). Im totally happy now that i can do what i love. I dont know if im just a lucky person or what, but i feel that possitive thinking and looking at my life with a smile on my face (it doesnt mean i smile all the time and i feel happy in every moment, in fact i am pretty selfish, vein and nervous) let me be where i am right now.
What i wanted to say is our life is in our hands. If you have dreams and let them slip away - im sorry, youre an idiot. Wy shouldnt we live our lives in the most beautiful way? And it doesnt matter there are hundreds of people who are better than us. Who cares?We will be better than them some day.

Im totally tired today. Preparing for the final exam - yes i am going to defend my master thesis (when? have no idea, in september/october i hope!) and need to have a rest but i dont have much time for relaxing now. Have no time for painting these days going to change this.
I dont know if anybody will read this, if so forgive me - you, you blogging person - for all the mistakes i made. as i said - my eglish is poor.

Nice to see you here on my blog. As you probably noticed - my name is Kattarzyna Cynamonova (i know spelling my name may be a bit complicated) and this is my place here, in the cyberland.
Ive deleted all the posts from my blog so i have to begin everything again. It was pretty hard to me to treat this side as my world, i am going to start everything again now.
Forgive my my poor english, im kinda lazy and dont use it very often.

Musiałam wyrzucić wszystkie stare posty, bo nie czułam się tutaj komfortowo. Wciąż coś uwierało, coś było nie tak. Tło, czcionka, wszystko. Wszystko było nudne, bezpłciowe, nijakie. Zaczynam więc od początku (oby to był lepszy początek). Witaj na moim blogu, usiądź i czytaj (oglądaj). Jeśli coś Cię zainspiruje - pisz śmiało na maila.
